About Us

Heavenly Hope Baptist Church is a small congregation led by Pastor Dean Smith. We are located at 250 Packing House Road, Chilhowie, Virginia. We perhaps are small in numbers but we are large in our love for the Lord. We are a working church and are always busy with our outreach ministries. Our church used to be an apple packing house and we transformed that "building" into a house of God. We would love for you to come and visit us, to receive Gods word, and grow with us as a church family. We have many outreach programs that we sponsor and we are very thankful for lives these ministries reach. Our goal is to spread Gods word, to worship and praise Him, that souls are saved and ultimately we all can dwell in the Kingdom of Heaven forever.
